New Domain Name Will Bring You to This Blog!

by Rita Kranson Williams on June 18, 2011

When I first wrote this book, I used the domain name Secondchancedatingonline at the advice of others who knew about keywords.

I have kept that name and renewed it, but I wanted to use the domain name WinkDotCom.com as well since the term is so closely associated with one of the major dating sites (and that is the name of the book).

The new domain name is also shorter and, in my opinion, easier to remember.

I have some time off from my real life job, so I decided while I do to devote myself to getting back to writing blogposts and updating some things!

So, friends, I hope to see all of you on this site updating me on how your lives in the dating again world are!

Hi Rita,
How are you? It’s been forever. When did you leave LEA? I retired from CEA in Oct. after 31 years. It was the right time and I love retirement.
I got to your page because our friends – Lana, Ann and Linda – liked it on Facebook. I am your target demo: looking for love online. It’s scary, and so odd, foreign almost. Send me your e-book asap. I’ll go up and order it.
Nice to find you. I plan to follow your blog. I look forward to getting to know you thru these interesting and amazing communication vehicles. Blogs? Who knew?
My best,
Deb

Hi, Deb!
Thanks so much for buying the book! When you read it you pretty much found out about the dating side of my life. Since I met my now long-time significant other online and it worked for me (with a few roadblocks), I decided to write the book. I attempted to bring readers along with me on my journey (I wrote while I was still dating). Since I retired from LAE 15 years ago I have run a number of businesses. I may start doing any or all of those again. In the past number of years I’ve worked for or owned French Quarter Candles. As of today I am taking a sabbatical from that. I intend to get back to blogging, hold that million dollar garage sale I’ve been talking about having for a number of years, and try to go spend some time with my mother. In a couple of months I might (or might not) go back to the candle business. My former business partner is holding down the fort while I’m gone. I’m anxious to hear what you thought about WinkDOTCom. Crazy how it is impossible to insert the winking smiley face in the title into the body of an email or blog comment. It’s made things difficult for news releases, too! Glad to hear you are enjoying your retirement. I look forward to hearing from you! All the best! Rita
